Thanks to Peter for producing the result once again and to Tony Wells for giving the riders a push start and helping at the finish. Also thanks to Chis Rosam for putting out the required warning signs on the course and then marshalling riders out onto the A24 at Kingsfold.
It turned out to be a mild evening, bright and sunny with a light north easterly wind.
A very poor turn out as our first evening event compared to April last year, when riders were keen to start racing again after the lockdowns.
In what were good conditions, the winner was Paul Deen, improving 9 seconds on his best time for the course.
On his new Giant TT bike, Isaac Griffiths, the runner up, also improved on his course best by 29 seconds.
Brandon Stott improved 19 seconds on his best time since making a comeback last year to take the handicap award.
