Close to Barns Green, south-west of Horsham is the Cafe by The Lake. It’s a lovely spot with outdoor lakeside tables as well as indoor seating areas.
It’s situated in the grounds of a camping and caravan site and is a popular spot for cyclists as well as the residents. If busy, be prepared to queue for a little while to order.
Route
This loop starts at Wells Road. Initially it heads south east before heading west to Rusper then south east to Barns Green. Returns via Horsham and then familiar roads towards Epsom.
The route is rolling, lots of ups and downs but no killer climbs.
